This alert applies to the following parks:

Goldsborough Valley road will be closed for public safety on Tuesday 31 January, Wednesday 1 February and from Monday 6 February through to Thursday 9 February 2023 as Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) conducts road works. The following facilities will be closed on those dates:

  • Goldsborough Valley day-use area
  • Goldsborough Valley camping area
  • The section of Goldfield trail between Goldsborough Valley and Mulgrave River camping area.

Please note that walkers may still walk part of the Goldfield trail from the Babinda Boulders to Mulgrave River camping area, but they must return the way they came and cannot complete the trail to Goldsborough Valley during this road closure.

The entire Goldsborough Valley road will re-open at 4pm Thursday 9 February 2023.
