Only the southern section of the park -- Riversleigh World Heritage Area and Miyumba camping area -- is open to visitors. The main gorge, where flood damage is most severe, remains closed while assessments and extensive recovery efforts are underway.
Please monitor park alerts for updates and check Bureau of Meteorology for weather warnings and forecasts before visiting.
Don't walk, drive or ride through floodwaters. Remember, if it’s flooded forget it.
