During the North Queensland wet season local heavy rainfall may cause significant stream rises at Porcupine Gorge National Park ,During and after heavy rain, creek conditions change and become dangerous. Fast flowing, rapidly rising water with strong currents can occur. At these times, to stay safe, do not enter the water. Visitors are urged to always use caution around waterways. Always supervise children closely.
