Culgoa Floodplain National Park - closure due to flooding

This alert applies to the following park:
- Culgoa Floodplain National ParkOutback Queensland; Southern Queensland Country
As a result of flooding Culgoa Floodplain National Park will be closed until further notice.
Access roads to and within the Culgoa Floodplain National Park have become impassable due to the residual effects of floodwaters from recent wet weather events.
The park closure is for all access roads and visitor areas including:
- Nebine Creek camping area
- Byra Lagoon camping area
- Redbank Hut camping area
All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure. If you wish to modify or apply for a refund on your camp booking, go to qld.gov.au/camping.
Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
