Mariala National Park closure - due to unsafe road conditions

This alert applies to the following park:

Due to recent rainfall and resulting road damage the Mariala National Park main access road, and access to the southern areas of the park, are temporarily closed until Monday 31 October 2022.

The closure includes the following camping areas:

  • Mariala Rockpools camping area
  • No. 3 Bore camping area

All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure. To apply for a refund, contact camping support at qpws@des.qld.gov.au.

Refunds can be applied for via your online account at qld.gov.au/camping.

Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
