This alert applies to the following park:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will conduct a planned burn in the coming weeks as part of the annual hazard reduction/conservation management program for parks and forests. These burns are being undertaken to help protect life and property in the event of a wildfire. Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Landsborough, Mooloolah and Glenview areas.

During the planned burn, Meridan Hill section of the Mooloolah River National Park will be closed to public access.

Observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
