This alert applies to the following parks:

A QPWS pest management control program is planned to commence from Tuesday 19 April to Friday 06 June 2022.

All control activities are conducted in accordance with approved departmental pest plans, and help to protect native plants and wildlife from the harmful effects of introduced animals. Poisoned baits with active ingredient 1080, and traps will be in use.

The pest management program will be conducted at locations throughout the park where high fox activity is occurring, including some visitor areas. The Kings Bore Circuit will be temporarily closed for the duration of the control program. Signs will be placed at all locations where baits and traps are set. Please do not interfere with baiting or trapping stations.

The Park will remain open to the public, and visitors are requested to observe all signage and barriers relating to the baiting and trapping program.
