This alert applies to the following park:
Tallebudgera Creek walking track has reopened following repairs to fix damage caused by landslides during recent rain events.
To reopen the track as soon as possible, rangers have implemented an interim detour track around the worst affected areas.
The detour track has more stairs than the original walking track, but the track remains a Grade 3 standard—suitable for most ages and fitness levels, but may have short steep hill sections and many steps.
Planning is also underway to permanently realign a section of the walking track further upslope to avoid the unstable landslide area and reduce track closure periods into the future.
