This alert applies to the following park:

With forecast rain over summer associated with La Nina', it is expected that access to areas of Byfield State Forest, including Water Park Creek camping and day use area and Byfield Conservation and National Parks including Five Rocks camping area and Nine Mile Beach camping areas may be periodically impacted by flooding of the Water Park causeway. The causeway is generally traversable when the water height is below 2.2m. Visitors intending to travel to these sites are urged to check the water height before travelling, and remain abreast of weather forecasts by local radio stations to ensure that they don't become stranded in these areas.

The Water Park Creek height can be monitored at the following link: http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ60289.html
Remember, if it’s flooded, forget it.
