This alert applies to the following parks:

The "Blackall 100" will be held in National Parks and areas surrounding Mapleton Township on the weekend of 17 and 18 October. Large numbers of competitors will be running along walking tracks, fire management trails and public access roads for the duration of the event. The event will be held on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk as well as trails in Kondalilla, Mapleton and Mapleton Falls National Parks.

All runners are expected to have passed through Kondalilla National Park by 10am Saturday.

Trail running through Mapleton area is expected to be completed by 10am Sunday.

When using local roads, drive slowly to reduce dust, please be patient and allow plenty of room when overtaking runners.

Limited parking will be available at Mapleton Day Use Area during the event.
