This alert applies to the following parks:
- Brooyar State ForestSunshine Coast
- Amamoor State Forest and National ParkSunshine Coast
Pending favourable weather conditions, planned hazardous tree removal and camping ground maintenance program will commence from Tuesday 2 February to Friday 5 February 2021.
As a result, the following areas will be temporarily closed for the duration of the works:
- Amamoor Creek camping area - Amamoor State Forest
- Cedar Grove camping area - Amamoor State Forest
- Glastonbury Creek camping area – Brooyar State Forest
Please observe all signage, barriers, and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
Alternate facilities are available at Charlie Moreland camping area - Imbil State Forest, Booloumba Creek camping areas - Conondale National Park and Peach Trees camping area - Jimna State Forest.
