This alert applies to the following park:

Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park (CYPAL) is closed for the wet season. The park is anticipated to reopen on the following dates, subject to road and weather conditions.
The following camping areas south of Lakefield ranger base are anticipated to reopen 1 June 2021:
- Kalpowar Crossing
- Mick Fienn Waterhole
- Dingo Waterhole
- Old Faithful Waterhole
- Kennedy Bend
- Twelve Mile Lagoon – please note sites 7 and 8 will remain closed for cultural purposes.
- Six Mile Waterhole
- Old Laura Homestead
- Horseshoe Lagoon
- Welcome Waterhole
The following camping areas north of Lakefield ranger base are anticipated to reopen 1 July 2021:
- Sweetwater Lake
- Annie River
- Five Mile Creek
- Seven Mile
- Saltwater Crossing
- Bizant River
- Brown Creek
- Basin Hole
- Top Whiphandle Waterhole
- Bottom Whiphandle Waterhole
- Orange Plain Waterhole
- Hann Crossing
- Hanush’s Waterhole
- Melaleuca Waterhole
- Midway Waterhole
