This alert applies to the following park:
- Undara Volcanic National ParkTownsville; Tropical North Queensland
Visitors to Undara Volcanic National Park are advised, Undara Experience will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from 1 November 2020 through to 21 March 2021.

Lava tube tours during this period will be available from Bedrock Village, located at Mount Surprise. For contact details please visit the tourism links information.
Please note that access to the Undara Volcanic National Park remains open during this time, including:
- the Kalkani Crater Rim walk is open
- the Kalkani day-use area is open.
Visitors are reminded there is no camping allowed at the Kalkani day-use area.
