This alert applies to the following park:
- Moreton Bay Marine ParkBrisbane
Due to sand movement at the eastern end of Rous Channel, Maritime Safety Queensland has altered the marked navigation channel to follow a greater than 3-metre deep channel that has formed through the Go Slow Zone.
This marked channel splits the Go Slow Zone as shown on the marine park user guide.
As the water depth is greater than 2-metres vessels may transit through the marked navigation channel while on the plane.
Areas outside of the marked navigation channel are still Go Slow Zones and vessels must not operate on the plane.
Refer to map of Amity Banks for more details.
For general enquiries phone 13 QGOV (13 74 68).
