Creek levels low
- 30 September to 30 October 2020
- 30 September 2020 3:26pm
As a result of prolonged dry weather, Booloumba, Yabba, Little Yabba, Amamoor and Glastonbury Creeks have ceased to flow.
Water levels are extremely low, and the creeks are reduced to intermittent ponds.
Dry conditions may have made these creeks unsafe for swimming.
Swimming in stagnant or slow-moving water is likely to cause:
- ear infections
- stomach disorders or
- other health complaints
Your safety is our concern, but your responsibility.
No nearby alternate facilities are available with flowing creeks.
Please be water wise and use water sparingly when visiting parks and forests.
In an emergency situation, call 000.
