Temporary closure: Barron Gorge boardwalk, Barron Gorge National Park

The Barron Gorge boardwalk at Barron Falls will be temporarily closed for decking replacement. There will be a partial closure of the boardwalk from 6 October 2020 to 10 November 2020, where access to the first 100 metres of boardwalk to the interpretation shelter and top lookout will still be possible. There will be a full closure of the boardwalk from 11 November to 1 December 2020.
The car park and toilet will remain open during this time, although a section of the car park will be cordoned off to allow for contractors to store building materials. For your safety, please adhere to all signs and directions from Rangers and contractors and do not enter any work areas.
