- Cooloola Recreation Area, Great Sandy National ParkSunshine Coast
Cooloola Recreation Area is declared a Restricted Access Area to manage visitor safety and numbers during the COVID-19 health emergency. All day visitors with vehicles accessing Cooloola Recreation Area must have: 1. A COVID-19 Restricted Access Area Authority (RAAA) for the duration of their visit. 2. A current Vehicle Access Permit (VAP).
RAAAs are free and available online at http://qpws.bookeasy.com . Once you have obtained your RAAA book and pay for your VAP online at http://qpws.usedirect.com/qpws/
An RAAA is required for each vehicle and covers all passengers. There is a limit of 500 RAAAs for each calendar day. This restriction forms part of our Industry COVID Safe Plan for QPWS Restricted Access Areas and campgrounds, to comply with the Chief Health Officer’s directives.
