Closure of Pump Hole camping area

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) has closed the Pump Hole camping area, due to the presence of potentially hazardous tree limbs overhanging some parts of the site.
In the interests of visitor safety, the site will remain closed until an assessment of the area is undertaken by a qualified arborist, and necessary works completed to remove potential hazards. QPWS apologises for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
