Wet season safety information: significant stream rises at swimming locations within Paluma Range National Park

This alert applies to the following parks:

During the North Queensland wet season local heavy rainfall may cause significant stream rises at the following locations:

  • Jourama Falls
  • Little Crystal Creek swimming hole
  • Rock slides swimming hole
  • Paradise swimming hole

Expect fast flowing water after heavy rain. Visitors are advised to use caution before entering the water and supervise children closely at all times.

Check weather conditions via the Bureau of Meteorology before visiting.
