Benarkin State Forest closed due to fire danger.

This alert applies to the following parks:

For public safety, all HQ Plantation forests in South East and Central Queensland have been closed. Benarkin State Forest (including Clancys and Emu Creek camping areas) is therefore closed. These camping areas will reopen from Friday 24 January, 2020.

Please observe signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.

All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure. Camping permit refunds can be applied for at www.qld.gov.au/camping.
