Mount French section of Moogerah Peaks National Park closed

This alert applies to the following parks:

The Mount French section of Moogerah Peaks National Park is temporarily closed for safety reasons until Tuesday 28th January 2020. This closure is due the high fire danger in this area. Visitor entry into this section of the park is prohibited during this closure.

The Mount Greville, Mount Edwards and Mount Moon sections of the park are open. However, please be aware that there is no public access into Mount Moon as it is surrounded by private property.

All camping and activity permits for the Mount French section are cancelled for the duration of the closure. To apply for a refund or camping credit, contact camping support at www.qld.gov.au/camping.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
