Fire prohibition in all D'Aguilar National park camping areas

Applies until 1 January 2020.

This alert applies to the following parks:

Until further notice, open fires must not be lit anywhere in the above mentioned protected area. Open fires are defined as: wood fires that are not fully self-contained, including open campfires and fires in braziers, drums, other open containers and QPWS supplied fire-rings and barbeques.

The fire prohibition is in place due to increasing high fire danger conditions. It will remain in place until significant rainfall, and the risk of wildfire moderates.

This fire prohibition applies to

  • Neurum Creek camping area
  • Archer camping area
  • Scrub Road bush camp
  • Light Line bush camp
  • Dundas Road bush camp
  • England Creek bush camp
  • Northbrook Mountain bush camp
  • South Kobble bush camp
  • Middle Kobble bush camp
  • North Kobble bush camp
  • Lepidozamia bush camp

Visitors must comply with fire prohibition and directions of QPWS rangers - penalties may apply.
