Severe Fire Danger - D'Aguilar National Park

Applies until 18 September 2019.

This alert applies to the following parks:

The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service would like to advise park visitors of the current severe fire danger conditions affecting D'Aguilar National Park.

As a result of these conditions, access to the following area is prohibited until conditions moderate

  • The Somerset walking trail - Mount Mee section
  • Dundas Road remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • England Creek remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • Lepidozamia remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • Light Line Road remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • North Kobble remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • Middle Kobble remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • South Kobble remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • Northbrook Mountain remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar
  • Scrub Road remote bush camp - South D'Aguilar

QPWS reccomends that park visitors reconsider any planned activities into the interior of the D'Aguilar National Park until conditions moderate.

Visitors should also note that Queensland Fire and Emergency Services fire bans are currently in place across South East Queensland.

Please check park alerts for updates, observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
