Planned Burn - Noosa National Park

Applies until 31 August 2019.

This alert applies to the following parks:

Weather permitting, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will be conducting planned burns in sections of Noosa National Park including the Headland Section from Wednesday 14th August to the 29th August 2019. These burns are part of the annual hazard reduction/conservation management program for parks and forests. Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Noosa to Coolum. Persons with respiratory or other health problems should seek medical advice on mitigating the effects of smoke inhalation. For your safety, please obey all signage and do not enter closed areas.
