Planned harvesting operations and closure of walking tracks

Applies until 20 September 2019.

This alert applies to the following parks:

HQPlantations harvesting operations northeast of Charlie Moreland camping area are planned to recommence from late July/August 2019.

As a result, the following areas are temporarily closed for short periods throughout the harvesting and replanting program:

  • Little Yabba circuit
  • Piccabeen circuit

There will be an increase in heavy vehicle traffic on Sunday Creek Road.

Charlie Moreland camping and day use area will remain open.

Alternate walking tracks are available from Booloumba Creek in Conondale National Park, or from Peach Trees camping area in Jimna State Forest.

Observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.

Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.
