Kroombit Tops National Park closed due to Pest management control program

This alert applies to the following parks:

Kroombit Tops National Park will be closed to public access between 5pm Sunday 1 September 2019 to 3pm Friday 6 September 2019 (inclusive)due to a feral animal control programme being carried out in the park. Members of the public are advised not to enter the park during this time and to make alternative travel or camping arrangements. Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.

All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure. Apply for a camping permit refund online at www.qld.gov.au/camping. Log into your account and cancel your booking up to two days before your booking commences to receive an automatic refund or alternatively apply for a refund. Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.
