Planned burn - Lizard Island National Park

Applies until 24 July 2019.

This alert applies to the following parks:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service intend to conduct planned burn activities on Lizard Island National Park between Thursday 18 and Wednesday 24 July.

During this time the national park on Lizard Island, including Watsons Bay camping area and all the national park walking tracks will be closed.

Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Lizard Island.

Observe all signs, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
