Meunga Creek to 20 m downstream of Bruce Highway, includes coastal waters outside mouth, 4 km north/north-west of Cardwell.

Extensive Rhizophora zone associated with estuary; subtidal and intertidal flats; vegetated and unvegetated salt flats.
Important recreational fishing area; commercial and Indigenous fishing; barramundi; blue salmon; bream; estuary cod; grey mackerel; grunter; mangrove jack; queenfish; school mackerel; whiting.
Adjoining Melaleuca forests.
